![]() I activated the demo first and then the beta key refused to activate until now, because steam gave me the error that those were the same game. On backerkit I got two keys, one for the demo (lol) and one for the beta testing. Other kickstarters have managed this a lot better in the past. But it would have been nice to get informed about all this stuff upfront to avoid all that confusion. So only people who actively check for a key will find it. But now we already got them, again without any info on it. Then they said the full keys will come 24h before release. So this might not have been planned to go this way. They also then said it was due to some conflict. They removed the keys without telling us upfront. So it was not obvious by just the license, and I would say it wasn't unlikely that this license would end up being the full game. I believe all keys generated on Steam before release have this "for Beta Testing" suffix. The demo keys activated "System Shock for Beta Testing", which is a term that very often means it's the full game. The issue is not that we don't understand what happened after the fact.
